Attack the Block Back online..in 1995, Mathieu Kassovitz is a classic inner wild town called La Haine (Hate). Now, the British comedian Joe Cornish converted into a filmmaker has created something almost the same world. But this first good and infinitely lovable might as well be called The Gaiety, or Hope, or Love. And excitement and laughter, Cornish gives some sharp social comment on the topic of immigration and alienation. Now there are many people who feel they have eaten enough analysis commentators lament the aggressive adolescents in Broken Britain control of their territory, and yet so afraid that the baby move anywhere outside of these " purposes. Cornish discusses the same idea but with a light touch and a cheerful, optimistic belief in the power of fashion a happy ending somewhere along the line. His pastoral science fiction urban fantasy is also a satire. What if the enemy groups or opposing were suddenly facing a common enemy? Unable to reach an agreement that would have increased anyway?

Jodie Whittaker plays Sam, an overworked, underpaid nurse who is on his way home from the subway station, talking to his mother on the phone. It is surrounded by a crew of five teenagers, led by the hard, impassive Moses (John Boyega). They call her valuables and threatened with a knife. She is white, they are black and mixed race, she speaks English and they speak patois RP London slang, the language that the rest of the film to be implemented. Moses and his classmates do not know, but Sam lives in the same place they do - they feared lean source of inspiration, the dark tower looming in the night sky like a spaceship survivor. As the trembling, hands Sat afraid of his property begins on alien attack. Enraged, Moses attacks the attacker and then becomes afraid of these beasts interplanetary like Sam is on them. But Sam and Moses is forced to team up to fight against the aggressor.

There is a huge support of the work of Jumayn Hunter (last seen in Paul Andrew Williams, Cherry Tree Lane) as a drug dealer in Hi-Hatz, Nick Frost, his relaxed, good-natured second in command of Ron, and Luke Treadaway as terrifying Brewis trustafarian always try to be street credibility and talk as friends in the block - his performance is a witty reminder that there is a sort of middle class white man who should never try to use the word "jokes" adjective , means "fun." It 's easy to see a movie like this and I wonder ... when there is a white adult player looking to recruit? The answer is no. tremendous certainty and total lack of condescension, a young Cornish put throw in the council block to children in the center of town. Directs them very well, and that reward performance in its charm and energy that carries the film.

Cornish skillfully uses its medium-term budget to propose, instead of seeing the aliens themselves, and managed to create an image of the live-action comedy comes naturally, rather than a series of sketch jokes are called to buy theater. When Sam is simmeringly wrath of Moses, and told a policeman he has no intention of being forced to leave their home by a gang of thugs and tyrants who could almost be a rough image of socialist realism. (Attack of the building looks a bit like the film of Michael Winterbottom's Wonderland.)

Later she has to look around the face of Moses, while you talk to him on the phone, she came across what appears to be room a little boy with a Spider-Man quilt on the bed. Between them, create Cornwall, Whittaker and Boyega a situation of bitterness and strength when Sam asks Moses if he has a younger brother, before the penny drops. "What is your age?" she asked. "Fifteen," Moses said flatly. "You look over," said Sam in surprise, and the response of naive Moses "Thank You" is given a heart-wringingly incurred by Boyega.

Block an attack based on the sci-fi classics such as Independence Day and the siege drama - Carpenter Assault on Precinct 13 - but there's something very innocent, and here in England, something like 1947 Ealing comedy of confusion . Cornish has made an impressive debut: his comedy career as he made his name pastiching and taking Mickey out of Hollywood movies. But this does not seem to pastiche, it looks like the real thing.
